Things to do at Triple Tree and the Surrounding Area.

Here at Triple Tree we emphasize Fun, Hospitality and Fellowship. Triple Tree and the surrounding areas offer a lot of entertaining and fascinating things to see and do.

At Triple Tree: Fishing, Hiking, River, Venders, Food, Blue Grass Band, Karaoke, Cookouts, Saturday Breakfast, And the Famous Triple Tree BBQ / Fund Raiser on Saturday night at 6:00 PM for $25.00. Menu: Chopped Pork BBQ, Grilled Chicken (Triple Tree's Secret Recipe), Boiled Shrimp, Baked Beans, Slaw, rolls and cookies. Plus Sodas and Beer.

 

Woodruff: Joseph Woodruff was one of first people to settle in what became Woodruff in 1787. The oldest standing home is on Main Street, built in the 1830’s

 

Southern Plantations

Walnut Grove Plantation:  Built in 1765, Open daily 11-5.

Price House: Built in 1795. Stagecoach stop, post office, and general store.

 

Shopping: In Greenville “Haywood Mall”, “Shops at Greenridge” and in Spartanburg the “West Gate Mall” And of course both towns have a “Walmart” and “Home Depot”.

 

Food:  Around each Mall and the Woodruff Road area in Greenville are great places to eat. Locally, The Do Drive In Serves Breakfast Lunch and Dinner. Pizza Hut, Carolina Fine Foods, Mexican Restaurant are in the town of Woodruff.

There are a few rules we have to enforce for everyone’s safety and to protect the Airplanes and Grounds. Several which are listed on this handout, but not all.

As a pedestrian DO NOT WALK ON, ACROSS OR GET ON THE RUNWAY.

You may look at and take photographs of aircraft, but do not touch any aircraft unless given permission to do so by the aircraft owner or pilot.

Help us keep Triple Tree neat and clean by placing trash in trash containers and pick-up any trash that may have been dropped.
 

 

Driving Directions

Do Drive In / Brown’s Market – Restaurant serving Breakfast Lunch and Supper. Also a Grocery Store and Meat Market. Turn Right out of Triple Tree .5 miles. Turn Left at the Stop Sign on to 221. It will be approximately 2 miles on the right.

 

Woodruff – Burger King, Carolina Fine Foods, BI-LO and Food Line Grocery Stores, Ace Hardware, R/X, Gas, Diesel, and several small shops. All are located on or just off HWY 221. Turn Right out of Triple Tree .5 miles. Turn Left at the Stop Sign on to 221. It will be approximately 6 miles.

 

Haywood Mall - Turn Right out of Triple Tree .5 miles. Turn Left at the Stop Sign on to 221 for 6 miles. Turn Left at the forth red light on to HWY 101 for 5 miles. Turn Left on to Woodruff Road, HWY 146 for 11 miles. Turn Right on to HWY 385 north for 3 miles. Turn Left on to Haywood Road exit 39 and the Mall will be on the Left.

 

Shops at Greenridge - Turn Right out of Triple Tree .5 miles. Turn Left at the Stop Sign on to 221 for 6 miles. Turn Left at the forth red light on to HWY 101 for 5 miles. Turn Left on to Woodruff Road, HWY 146 for 12 miles. It will be on the right.

 

Westgate Mall – Turn Right out of Triple Tree for .5 miles. Turn left at Stop Sign on to Hwy 221 for .5 miles. Turn right on to Two Mile Creek Rd for 2.2 miles. Turn left on to Mountain Shoals Rd for .5 miles. Turn right on to HWY 146 for .8 miles. Turn left on to HWY 26 West for 17 miles. Exit right on to exit 21B WO Ezell BLVD for .3 miles turn left on to Hwy 295 and Mall will be on the left.
